Women's March in Washington DC: Saturday, January 21, 2017.
I went to the Donald trump inauguration on January 20, 2017 and the Women's March on Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Friday January 20, 2017 was one of the saddest events in my political life (Inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20).
I was in The mall. There were no crowds (not the crowds compared to Obama’s and which Trump claimed). I photographed how few were on the Mall as I walked right up to the barricades of the reserved lots, and I did it without any problem.
Saturday, January 21, 2017 was one of the brightest events in my political life (The Women's March in Washington DC)
The show up was unbelievable. I arrived at 9 am and you could not move. I was stuck at the Hirschorn Museum until 1:30 pm when the authorities allowed the crowds to move on the central mall and the 2 main avenues on its sides. It was the exhilaration of a very peaceful, respectful and diversified crowd which strengthens our daily resistance and our dignity as women, and dignified citizens.
Unfortunately, it all proved to go more sower each day of this toxic presidency, which will repeat and amplify as of January of 2025.
